Yes! It really is a great idea and one that can push comics in a good direction. It's crazy that he actually mentions 'Shonen Jump'. But yeah, thats it, perfectly explained. And this could be all over the place. Imagine, instead of racks of magazines (or comics) there are racks of 'American Shonen Jump' type comic anthologies, each with their own subscription services and everything. Rates could be set similar to magazines. Each one puts out like 4 a year. I'm excited that this could be a possibility.
It's something I think all cartoonist are thinking about, so it's no surprise people are talking about it. I'm sure eventually this will work out really well, it's a good time to be a cartoonist.
