Better? In order to do what you want I'm gonna hafta go into the site in html. Which I'm not very good at.
ill try to figure something out when i have the time. Untill then I'm just gonna edit the colors on existing templates.

rad. Yeah I agree, this looks better, It's not completely there yet, but definitely a step in the right direction.
I like the full flamebrush element, but it seems like a hard shape to fit in there.
I'm glad we're all on admin now. I'm going to work up some logo ideas and post them. I'll stay out of the html for now, but I can do it up in dreamweaver when we're ready.
I think we need more color. Theres too much black and white. We need to come up with a good color scheme. Probably a range of hot colors like yellow through red. Then maybe some dark greys and light greys (instead of black and white)... I don't know, Ben's the color master.
I'll play with logo ideas though - good opening challenge Ben.
I'm going to mess around with the layout today, just to get used to how to work with blogger. when we get something we all like, I'll know how to implement it.
i do like my logo down in the sidebar, though.
re: colors - i kind of like it when the images we post are the sources of the colors. i agree though, the black is a little oppressive.
i liked the black. but i guess im in the minority. dark grey maybe?
i like the black too, but it was a little too heavy. i couldn't get blogger to only put it on one side.
those flames need to be animated gifs or something. Or flash animated. Can you implement flash elements with blogger? I can do it if you want to send me the files. I like the header, but it doesn't look right with the black rectangle. And maybe try a red background?
I like the color scheme. I think the Art burn text should be changed, too blocky, also perhaps move the flames up to see some of the metal.
if you've got any ideas, you should post them, so we can pick the ones we like.
you mean we've got to do our own? can't we just critique yours all day? :P
